Testimonial & Image Permission Terms
The current access date is shown for reference. When you submit the testimonial form, the exact date and time of your consent are recorded separately together with the terms version and language you accepted.
These terms explain how Tato.Media may review, edit, store, and publish information voluntarily submitted through the testimonial form.
By submitting the form and selecting the corresponding permissions, you confirm that you have read and accepted the sections that apply to your submission.
1. Testimonial publication
You authorize Tato.Media to reproduce, format, display, and publish your approved testimonial on the Tato.Media website together with the professional attribution you provide.
Your attribution may include your name, professional title, company when relevant, and the production or project in which you worked with Tato.
This permission is non-exclusive and royalty-free. You retain ownership of your original testimonial.
Tato.Media is not required to publish every submitted testimonial and may decline, postpone, unpublish, or remove a testimonial at its discretion.
2. Editing
If you grant editing permission, Tato.Media may make minor changes for grammar, spelling, clarity, formatting, and length.
These changes must not materially alter the meaning of your testimonial.
Tato.Media will preserve the original submitted version for internal reference.
If a substantial change is considered necessary, Tato.Media should request additional approval before publication.
3. Photograph ownership and authorization
If you provide a photograph, you confirm that:
- You own the copyright in the photograph; or
- You have received permission from the photographer or other copyright owner to authorize its use by Tato.Media.
Being the person shown in a photograph does not necessarily mean that you own the copyright in that photograph.
Do not upload production stills, publicity photographs, screenshots, photographs owned by a studio or production company, or photographs taken by another person unless you have permission to authorize their use.
When you grant photograph permission, you give Tato.Media a non-exclusive and royalty-free license to reproduce, crop, resize, optimize, and display the photograph on the Tato.Media website in connection with your testimonial and professional attribution.
The photograph will not be sold or licensed to another party by Tato.Media.
This authorization does not transfer ownership of the photograph to Tato.Media.
4. Name, professional information, and likeness
You authorize Tato.Media to display the name, professional title, company, project attribution, and approved photograph that you voluntarily provide.
You confirm that the information you submit is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you are authorized to identify the company, production, or professional project described.
5. Professional links
If you provide a professional website or profile link and authorize its publication, Tato.Media may display that link alongside your testimonial.
You confirm that the link identifies you, your company, or a professional profile that you are authorized to share.
Tato.Media is not responsible for the availability, security, privacy practices, or content of external websites.
6. Review and publication
All submissions are reviewed before publication.
Submitting a testimonial does not cause it to appear automatically on the website.
Tato.Media may contact you using the submitted email address to verify your identity, clarify your professional attribution, confirm permissions, or request approval of a significant edit.
7. Personal information and privacy
Tato.Media may store the information submitted through the form for verification, editorial review, publication, recordkeeping, and administration of the testimonial feature.
The public website may display only the information you have authorized for publication.
Your email address, original submission, consent records, internal notes, and review status will not be intentionally displayed publicly.
Reasonable technical and organizational measures should be used to protect submitted information. However, no internet-based storage or transmission system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
8. Withdrawing permission, corrections, and removal
You may request:
- Correction of your professional information;
- Correction of a factual error;
- Removal of your photograph;
- Removal of your professional link;
- Unpublication of your testimonial; or
- Deletion of the information submitted through the testimonial form, subject to any information Tato.Media may reasonably need to retain for legal, security, or recordkeeping purposes.

Tato.Media will process reasonable requests within a reasonable period.
Withdrawal does not affect website use that occurred before the request was received and processed.
9. No payment
Unless separately agreed in writing, submitting a testimonial does not create a right to payment, royalties, employment, representation, endorsement compensation, or any other financial benefit.
10. Scope
These permissions apply to the publication of the testimonial and related approved materials on the Tato.Media website.
They do not automatically authorize unrelated advertising campaigns, paid advertisements, merchandise, resale of the photograph, or licensing of the submitted materials to third parties.
Additional permission should be requested before using submitted materials for materially different purposes.

Copyright notice
Contributor testimonials, names, professional information, photographs, and external links are used with permission.
Copyright in contributed photographs and original testimonial text remains with the respective rights holders unless otherwise agreed in writing.
